As a BSN student in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program, you will learn how to think critically, solve problems, and ultimately, heal those in need as a registered nurse. Schedule

Schedule options that fit your life

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program’s full-time schedule is offered at the Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside campuses.

PROGRAM DURATION3

The program is 180 quarter credit hours and takes approximately 36-37 months to complete, including federal holidays and any breaks between terms. Completion times vary depending upon the start and end dates of a cohort and any individual circumstances that may impact progression.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE4

Courses are delivered via on-ground, online, and blended (on-ground and online) learning environments. Labs typically take place on campus, and clinicals occur at facility.

Didactic and Lab Courses

Commonly scheduled between 3 to 4 days per week each term; 1 to 2 days shall be theory and 1 to 2 days shall be clinical. Didactic and lab class meetings are commonly scheduled between 7:00 AM PT to 10:00 PM PT and may last up to 8.5 hours in a day.

Terms offering blended and/or online courses will include asynchronous assignments. Please take the Online Readiness Quiz to determine whether you can meet the hardware, software, and competency requirements for taking online courses.

Clinical Rotations

Commonly scheduled to start as early as 5:30 AM PT and last for either 8.5 or 12.5 hours during the day, evening, or night shifts. Rotations may be scheduled on any day of the week, Monday through Sunday.

Students will be notified of the class schedule two weeks prior to class start date.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program launched in 2021 at the Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside campuses. The BSN program at the Riverside campus does not have graduates and therefore, no licensure pass rates. The first cohorts of the BSN program at the Orange County and Los Angeles campuses graduated in March of 2024. The data above is for the Associate of Science in Nursing degree program NCLEX-RN pass rates. The final cohorts of the ADN program graduated in January of 2023.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Riverside campus does not have graduates and therefore, has no current graduation or employment rates. Please find the following student outcome data for the Associate of Science in Nursing degree program.

As an exclusive resource for our students and graduates, the Stanbridge University Digital Portfolio Builder helps you organize and present your academic experience from Stanbridge University and professional achievements into a modern and sleek online portfolio. Along with guidance from your Career Service Officer, you can easily add and edit your achievements. Campus Locations

Stanbridge University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is offered at the Irvine (Orange County), Alhambra (Los Angeles), and Riverside campuses.

The Orange County campus is conveniently located near the 405 freeway, across from the John Wayne Airport, providing easy access for students from Irvine, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Lake Forest, and other Orange County cities.

The Los Angeles campus is located in the San Gabriel Valley with quick access to the 10 and 710 freeways, serving students in Alhambra, Pasadena, Monterey Park, El Monte, West Covina, Long Beach, Rosemead, and throughout Los Angeles County.

The Riverside campus is centrally positioned within the Inland Empire, close to the 210, 15, and 91 freeways, serving students in Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, and surrounding areas.
